Data warehouse ETL is a complex affair. At the same time, it can also be a very mundane one if you do things right.

The software provides key information that is either easier to access or not even provided by SQL Server itself. The outputs of this software can be used to help diagnose and correct issues.

Basically, when things go sideways, the software will tell you what’s wrong so you can fix it before anybody even notices.
