What is the ETL Framework?

The ETL Framework is a defined set of standards and practices designed to efficiently and effectively move data into and out of a data warehouse. The ETL Framework provides the following:

1. Directions on how to configure servers to support the various framework components,

2. Strict protocols on how data moves into and out of the system,

3. Sample code and templates for various database objects and use cases,

4. Mechanisms that allow for ease of code deployment, and

5. Mechanisms for signals and systems feedback error reporting as well as volumetrics for the overall health of the load.
